The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan considered issues of further deepening strategic partnership relations

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today held a meeting with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, who arrived in the city of Tashkent to participate in the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, reports a correspondent of "Dunyo" information agency.

According to the press service of the head of our state, at the beginning of the conversation, the President of Turkmenistan conveyed greetings and best wishes from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed in detail in the context of the implementation of agreements at the highest level.
The parties noted with satisfaction the consistent development and strengthening of Uzbek-Turkmen multifaceted cooperation and in-depth strategic partnership.
Practical cooperation is expanding in the fields of trade, industry, energy, water management, transport and other priority areas.
Interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchanges are actively carried out. In October of this year, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were successfully held in Uzbekistan.
The presidents of the two countries reviewed the regional agenda and issues of cooperation within the framework of multilateral structures.
