Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 8, 2015, approved a feasibility study for the project "Construction of a gas processing plant and construction of Kandym group of deposits" (the first stage)", www.norma.uz reports.
The document noted that in the framework of the first phase of the investment project between the company "LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company" and the consortium led by the company "Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd." (Republic of Korea) signed a contract for the supply of equipment, construction of a gas processing plant and improvement of Kandym group of deposits on a turnkey basis amounting to more than 2.66 billion USD.
It should be noted that implementation of the construction project and construction of a gas processing plant and Kandim group of deposits with a maximum annual production of 8.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas is provided in 3 phases.
