The Agency for Intellectual Property of Uzbekistan held a meeting of the Board, dedicated to the results of operations for the 1st quarter of 2015, according to the press service of the agency.
In the course of it the implementation of the priority tasks for the first quarter of this year, and the work plan of the Agency had been reviewed. Thus, the volume of work performed amounted to 5,26 billion soums, services on 335,4 million soums were provided.
Agency made in 1533 applications for intellectual property objects (IPO). In particular, applications received - for inventions - 119, utility models - 39, industrial samples - 37, trademarks - 1245, computer programs - 80 and databases - 2, selection achievements - 11.
Spend the state expertise of intellectual property objects in 1608, registered in the state registers 611 facilities extended action and grant an application for maintenance in action 495 titles of protection for the OIC.
The results of the activities in the markets and in shopping malls in order to prevent crime and the fight against trafficking in counterfeit goods, together with the state authorities was found 198 cases of violations.
Following the meeting, decisions being taken by the Board.
