The Secretary General of the ECO: We are dedicated to fostering regional cooperation

The Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Asad Majeed Khan, in an interview for Dunyo IA provided insights into the outcomes of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif to Uzbekistan:

– The visit is a highly auspicious development, as both Pakistan and Uzbekistan are important members of and active contributors to the work of the ECO.

As an organization dedicated to fostering regional cooperation, ECO firmly believes that such interactions at leadership level not only play a critical role in bringing countries closer bilaterally but also help advance ECO’s agenda of regional economic growth, trade integration and connectivity.

We are optimistic about the outcomes of this significant bilateral visit and look forward to the enhanced collaboration it will foster within the region.
