In the Indian city of Chennai international tournament in rugby Asian Olympic Pre-Qualifier with the participation of male and female teams of India, Iran, Laos, the Philippines, Guam, United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan.
On the first day of competition, our women’s team held four matches in all games won a landslide victory. And in the final match our girls have taken up over the Indian team with a score of 38: 0 and won first place in the tournament.
Men’s Rugby team of Uzbekistan also successfully performed in competitions and won the bronze medal. On the way to the final, our athletes have given way to a team of Iran.
Note that a member of the women’s team of Uzbekistan Anna Asfandiyarova recognized as the most productive player of the tournament.
