In the first half of 2015 the State association of railway companies “Uzbekiston temir yo’llari” sent off 33,3 million tones of loading from railway stations. In comparison with the analogical period of last year the growth made up 103,3% according to the press-service of the company.
Since the beginning of this year 10,7 million passengers have been delivered to their destinations. For the last six months 204,4 billion soum industrial products have been produced at industrial enterprises at comparable prices. In order to provide the employment of the population there have been organized 202 new work places.
According to the republican investment program 344,7 million capital funds have been brought under on account of the sources of funding of the society.
This funding is directed into strategic projects such as the construction of electrified railway “Angren-Pop”, electrification of railway sites “Marokand-Karshi”, “Karshi-Termiz”, “Marokand-Buhoro”, the rehabilitation of railways, renewal and modernization of the park of truck and iron wagons.
In order to realize the project of construction of a new electrified railway line “Angren-Pop” 186,7 million have been brought under for the reporting period whereas the prognosis for 2015 was 38,3 million.
