TO WORTHILY CELEBRATE THE ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE

September 1 is the historic date of our country’s gaining independence, the appearance on the world map of a new, sovereign state - the Republic of Uzbekistan. We celebrated it as the most valuable holiday.

For its worthy celebration, the President’s Decree "On the preparation and conduct of the celebration of the 26th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted.

The republican commission approved for this purpose will develop a program of organizational, practical, spiritual, educational and awareness-raising activities embodying the main idea "My love and devotion to you, native Uzbekistan!" within a week. When preparing it, it is proposed to proceed from the main provisions of the Strategy for Actions and the state program "Year of dialogue with the people and human interests".

It is recommended to pay great attention to comprehensive coverage of large-scale work aimed at modernizing the country, deepening democratic reforms, further enhancing the role of parliament and political parties, the effectiveness of the public administration system, strengthening the role of civil society institutions, including the media. And also the great importance is of the fact that a system of open and effective dialogue with the population of state and non-governmental organizations is established on the spot, as a result of which many problems of citizens are solved in accordance with their appeals.
