Tourism Development Committee hosts a meeting with Malaysian companies' representatives

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development held a meeting with representatives of Malaysian companies PacPlus Resources, Midlands Aviation Asia Pacific (M) Sdn.Bhd. and Malaysia – Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce.

The Malaysian side announced its readiness to invest as much as possible in development of bilateral relations.

Ziyorat tourism was noted as one of the potential directions and the investors were informed about measures taken in the country to develop it. The guests noted that in Malaysia, Imom Al-Bukhari is a brand that can increase the number of tourists in ziyorat tourism direction, as there are about 3 million people who follow Islam in Malaysia.

The launch of programs for improvement of qualifications and quality of tourism services was proposed as another important area.
