TOURIST POTENTIAL OF UZBEKISTAN HAS BEEN PRESENTED IN BERLIN

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany hosted a presentation of tourist potential of our country, which was organized in partnership with the German travel company Hamburg CTH and editorial staff of weekly publication Die Zeit.

The event was attended by representatives of the public, experts, academic and cultural circles, as well as German media, who were acquainted with the history, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people, the modern socio-economic development of significant tourism opportunities of the country, carried out large-scale reforms in various fields.

Demonstration of documentary film about the tourism potential of the republic and the audience presented colorful brochures and booklets allowed the participants to get a clear idea of ​​modern Uzbekistan.

Introduced information provoked a lively interest in the presentation of guests who shared their impressions in an interview with Jahon Information Agency in Berlin.

Thus, tourism expert Berend Fidler said:

— Through organized a high-level event, we were able to get a lot of new information about your beautiful country. It was especially interesting to learn about the measures undertaken in the country, aimed at the development of tourism. Undoubtedly, this attention to improvement of tourism infrastructure of the country and its regions will boost the interest of foreign public and increase the tourist flow into country.

In the near future the whole family are going to make a trip to the ancient cities of Uzbekistan. We want to see Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Tashkent, enjoy the beauty and grandeur of the ancient architectural masterpieces.

Historian and traveller Siegfried Pleger, talking about the trip to our country, underlined:

— I consider myself a happy man, because I could realize my childhood dream - to make a tour of the ancient cities of the Great Silk Road. Visiting Uzbekistan three years ago, I truly loved him. Struck by openness, friendliness and hospitality of the Uzbek people. In addition, I am convinced that over the years of independence, while maintaining a rich historical heritage, Uzbekistan has carried out a great creative work in all areas.

I hope that soon again I will be able to visit your wonderful land, which I am sure would surprise me with new discoveries.

Berliner Helmut Kors noted the warm atmosphere of the event and an interesting program.

— I am convinced that such events contribute to the strengthening of mutual understanding and partnership between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Germany, the guest said. - Presentation of tourist potential of the republic, a film about the world-famous historical cities and architectural monuments have allowed everyone present to plunge into the history of Uzbekistan, located in the heart of the Great Silk Road.
