Trade turnover has increased by 20%

The meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan is continuing in a narrow format at Kuksaroy residence.

The meeting of the heads of the two states is considered as a logical continuation of political dialogue, held in Ankara in October 2017.

It should be noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey has been expanding in various spheres. Particularly, in 2017, the trade turnover between the two countries has increased by 30% and amounted to 1.5 billion US dollars. In the first quarter of the current year, this index has increased by 400 million US dollars. This indicates 20 percent growth compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
