On September 17, 2018, the U.S. delegation led by Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom Samuel Dale Brownback will arrive in Uzbekistan.
It is expected that the American delegation will be received by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The program of the visit includes meetings and negotiations at the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, General Prosecutor’s Office, ministries of Foreign Affairs, Justice, Muslims Board of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the delegation members will also attend a round table discussion on “Religious tolerance: experience of Uzbekistan and the United States”, in Tashkent.
