In the course of the press conference which took place in the capital it was stated that the office of "Ukraine International Airlines" started to operate in Tashkent. The event was attended by representatives of the airlines and partners, the Ukrainian Embassy in Uzbekistan, as well as a number of Ukrainian companies operating in our country, reports IA UzReport.
As noted at the press conference, "Ukraine International Airlines" operates on the airlines market of our country for more than six months. During 2014 the airline performed 80 flights on the route Kiev - Tashkent - Kiev, carried more than 9,000 passengers while the capacity of the aircraft on the route increased from 108 to 168 seats. Taking into account the high demand of this direction, as well as a large number of requests from potential passengers about the possibility of buying tickets of the airline directly from the carrier, it was decided to open its own office in Tashkent with ticketing.
During the event, the airline presented its plans and proposals for clients in the season IATA Summer 2015, as well as announced plans to open new destinations in the summer season, namely: Kiev - Riga, Kiev - Minsk, which is conveniently connected with flights of the airline "Ukraine International airlines" on the route Kiev - Tashkent - Kiev.
The participants noted the need for further development of air transport on the route Kiev - Tashkent and increase frequencies on this route in order to strengthen social and economic ties between Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Further development of air transport between Ukraine and Uzbekistan will strengthen ties between the two countries and will provide passengers from Uzbekistan greater opportunities for travel through Kiev next in the direction of Europe.
