Deputy Director-General for International Relations and Public Affairs Eric Falt presented the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahodir Ahmedov original certificate on the inclusion of Askia (Uzbek art of wit) on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The ceremony of the official presentation of the document took place during the conference "Unity and diversity of musical cultures of the East", held within the framework of the X International Music Festival "Sharq taronalari" in Samarkand.
