Three representatives of the national team of Uzbekistan on boxing qualified for the finals of the World Cup in Doha (Qatar).
Murodjon Ahmadaliev in the weight category 56 kg defeated Shiva Thapa from India with a score 3:0. Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (up to 64 kg) with the same result prevailed Vuttichai Masuka from Thailand. Bektemir Melikuziev (75 kg) with a score of 2:1 got a victory over Michael O’riley from Ireland.
In the final M.Ahmadaliev will enter the ring against Michael Conlan from Ireland, F.Gaibnazarov against Vitaliy Dunaytsev from Russia. B.Melikuziev will resist against Arlen Lopez from Cuba, according to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
