Uzbek delegation composed of representatives of the National Information and Analytical Center on Drug Control under the Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Health participated in the 58th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, held 9-17 March 2015 in Vienna.
The event was attended by senior officials of UN member states to discuss current trends in the field of drug trafficking, and issues an Integrated and Balanced Strategy to combat the problem of distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances at the international level.
During the 58th session of the Commission also held a meeting segment on preparations for the special session of the UN General Assembly on the world drug problem in 2016.
