Uzbek products showcased in China

Uzbek products are being featured at the "Foshan Food Industry-2025" exhibition in Foshan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

A dedicated Uzbekistan stand displays more than 10 types of export-oriented goods, including agricultural products grown and processed in Uzbekistan, pulses, and artisan handicrafts. Informational materials promoting the country’s tourism potential and video presentations on opportunities across sectors of the Uzbek economy also drew visitor interest

The stand was visited by officials of the city of Foshan, leaders of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture, and representatives of more than 400 Chinese companies.

On the margins of the exhibition, a business forum titled "Investment Opportunities in the Regions of Uzbekistan" was held with the participation of representatives from over 60 companies across Guangdong Province. The forum highlighted attractive sectors of the Uzbek economy and presented a range of promising investment projects.

As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached for a delegation of Chinese companies active in the furniture, leather, construction materials, and agricultural sectors to visit Bukhara Region in August of this year.
