UZBEK TENNIS PLAYER'S VICTORY IN INDIA

The second racket of Uzbekistan Sabina Sharipova defeated N.Stoyanovich, representative of Serbia, with score of 3:6, 6:2, and 6:4 in the final representative tournament of ITF in New Delhi (India) with a prize fund of 25 thousand dollars.

It was our compatriot’s first victory of the season, which brought her 50 rating points.

It should be noted that the beginning of the match did not promise S.Sharipova’s victory due to a very strong game of the Serbian tennis player. But thanks to the perseverance and skill, a rising star of the Uzbek tennis has been able to turn the tide of the match and finish it in her favor.

S.Sharipova noted in an interview with Jahon Information Agency that the victory in the final of the prestigious tournament has been a matter of honor for her. She has devoted her triumph in New Delhi to the 25th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
