The Directorate of the National Air Company held a press conference on January 26, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the National airline Uzbekistan Airways.
The event saw the leadership of the NAC, Director of airports, NAC representatives abroad, experts of various directorates, services and departments, representatives of international and national media.
January 28 marks quarter-century anniversary since the national airline of Uzbekistan was established. For the staff of the National airline this holiday is truly expensive. Looking back at the path, you can make sure that every year was no less fruitful than the previous one. Visual proof – a growing economic potential and the image of civil aviation of Uzbekistan.
Director General of Uzbekistan Airways V. Tyan opening the event talked about the development and achievements of the national carrier over the past 25 years. He said that due to the attention and support of the country’s leadership, the industry has implemented a number of large-scale projects, and today the national airline takes a worthy place among the leading airlines.
The press conference took place in a friendly atmosphere, in open dialogue. The media representatives raised a lot of questions, related to the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the activity of aviation enterprise Uzbekistan airways technics, the construction of a new passenger terminal "Tashkent-4" and long-term plans of the airline. Having received satisfactory answers, they, in turn, congratulated the airmen with the 25th anniversary of the NAC Uzbekistan Airways and thanked the management for providing the opportunity for close collaboration and participation in all ongoing activities in the life of the airline and expressed the hope that it will continue to be fruitful as well.
Those media representatives, who actively and objectively cover the national carrier’s activities were awarded letters of thanks and souvenirs of the National airline.
