Uzbekistan and German bank discuss prospects of cooperation on industrial development projects

A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany with Mark Vengrchik, General Director of AKA Bank, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft MBH (AKA), established in 1952 by 17 German banks in Frankfurt am Main, specializes primarily in short-term, medium-term, and long-term trade financing.

During the meeting, the German side expressed appreciation for the active cooperation within the framework of its participation in investment programs in Uzbekistan. It was noted that the bank is currently working closely with Uzbek banks under the implementation of the "Program of Technological Partnership and Industrial Cooperation" between our countries for 2024–2026.

This partnership is aimed at implementing projects in the key sectors of our country’s economy — textile industry, services, tourism, mining, metallurgy, as well as alternative energy.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize reciprocal visits to discuss the financing of new projects in the near future.
