Uzbekistan and Serbia discuss prospects for cooperation in internal affairs and law enforcement

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov held talks with Ivica Dačić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Serbia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Uzbekistan–Serbia cooperation in the field of internal affairs and law enforcement.

The Serbian side expressed strong interest in establishing a long-term and sustainable partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and confirmed its readiness to engage in practical dialogue at various levels.

The sides also touched upon the development of the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, reaffirming the mutual commitment to further expanding practical interaction between the relevant agencies of both countries.
