UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini held an online meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the parties discussed ways to strengthen partnership in the financial sector and explored areas of mutual interest for both countries.
It was noted that following the visit of Uzbekistan’s government delegation to the UAE Ministry of Finance in November last year, opportunities for enhanced cooperation in finance, banking, and investment have expanded under the Financial Leadership Program.
Mutual efforts will contribute to both nations’ development and improve people’s well-being.
Minister Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini praised the partnership between UAE and Uzbekistan and highlighted Uzbekistan’s achievements under the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy and its public-private partnership initiatives.
