UZBEKISTAN AT THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL "KIEV IS THE CITY OF UNITY"

Within the framework of the international festival "Kiev - the city of unity", which was attended by representatives of many foreign countries, a presentation of the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan was held.

The audience got acquainted with the stand, decorated in traditional style, with photographs showing the beauty of natural landscapes, ancient towns and monuments of our country. In addition, products craftsmen, national samples of fabrics and woodcarvings, which allowed visitors to get the most complete and vivid picture of Uzbekistan, its huge tourism potential have also been exhibited.

Pottery and dolls in national costumes, who presented traditional for a particular region of Uzbekistan clothing are of great interest among the guests.

During the day, Uzbekistan’s stand was visited by representatives of more than 50 embassies, 70 tourism companies, trade unions and associations of journalists.

The Ukrainian school of dance "Rostock" demonstrated special performance. They showed a dance "Bukhara kizlari" and “Andijan polka” complementing the event with the festive atmosphere of positive reviews.

During familiarization with the stand of our republic, the visitors expressed their admiration on the rich art and culture of the Uzbek people, and also noted the desire to visit the country, which is known as the jewel of the East.
