A roundtable discussion entitled “Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union: Outlook” is due March 14 in Tashkent.
The principal purpose sought from the event is to deliberate on the prospects and priorities for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union within the framework of the forthcoming new EU Strategy for Cooperation with the Countries of Central Asia.
The roundtable discussion is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Delegation of the European Union and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Uzbekistan.
During the event, participants are expected to discuss – in the form of open dialogue – new ideas and initiatives to further the mutually advantageous and multifaceted cooperation of Uzbekistan with EU’s key institutions.
