UZBEKISTAN, GERMANY SIGN TECHNICAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT

In Tashkent, agreement has been inked between the governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Republic of Germany on technical cooperation for the implementation of the project "Land use based on the ecosystem approach and the conservation of ecosystems in the lower reaches of the Amudarya River."

The document envisages the provision of technical assistance by the German government to Uzbekistan to implement the abovementioned scheme. The purpose sought by the project is to contribute to climate protection and sustainable development in our country by promoting measures for adaptation to impacts of climate change.
