Uzbekistan is recognized as the most desirable emerging destination in the world

Uzbekistan has gained international recognition by leading in the category of promising destinations and winning the prestigious Reader Travel Awards, awarded by Wanderlust.

This year, 168 thousand travelers took part in the voting, determining the winners in 22 categories, including the most popular cities, countries, and new travel destinations. Uzbekistan took first place in the category “Most Desirable Emerging Destination”.

According to the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Albania took second, and Qatar was third on this list.

The magazine highlights Uzbekistan’s natural landscapes – from the majestic Qizilqum desert to the mysterious shores of the Aral Sea, which remain among the most underrated in the world.
