Uzbekistan, Korea to implement joint projects on digitalization and artificial intelligence

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, Won Do Yeon.

The parties discussed the current legal relations between the two government authorities and the prospects for further cooperation in combating crime, strengthening law and order.

In particular, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects to combat cybercrime, economic crimes, organized crime, and other types of crimes, digitalize the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and introduce artificial intelligence into the field.

The parties expressed confidence that this agreement will serve as a new impetus for strengthening mutually beneficial ties.
