Uzbekistan national team fell to 72nd position in FIFA rankings

Under the new international FIFA soccer rankings released on March 12, the football team of Uzbekistan gaining 483 points, lost one position compared to the last month and took 72nd position in the ranking of the best football teams in the world, reports press service of Uzbekistan Football Federation.

Hereby the Uzbek team ranks fourth in Asia after Iran (42), Japan (53) and South Korea (56).

Among teams of CIS countries Uzbekistan is the third, after Ukraine (31) and Russia (33).

Overall rating of the world national teams is headed by the World Cup Champion 2014 - Germany (1770). Argentina (1577) and Colombia (1499) also included to the category of the three strongest teams in the world.
