Uzbekistan – Russia Youth Business Forum

Tashkent hosts Uzbekistan – Russia Youth Festival. Within the framework of the festival, Uzbekistan – Russia Youth Business Forum was organized for the first time at the Palace of Youth Creativity.

At the event, young entrepreneurs of the two countries exchanged experience, as well as held negotiations on implementation of joint business projects, establishing cooperation in the spheres of information technologies and digital commerce.

Deputy Chairman of Russia Youth Union Tatyana Seliverstova noted that the first Uzbekistan – Russia business incubator will be opened in Tashkent this December. By 2019, it is planned to establish activities of 5 more such structures.

Another participant of the forum, director of the Center for International Business Projects of the Youth Union of Russia Alexei Yejov, noted that currently there are more than 20 Russia – China youth business incubators operating in the Russian Federation. In the future, Uzbekistan – Russia business incubators will achieve such a number, for which there are all conditions and opportunities.

The forum participants got acquainted with activities being held in the country on supporting young entrepreneurs. Views were exchanged on prospects for development of e-commerce.

Within the framework of the forum, B2B meetings were organized with participation of young entrepreneurs, business leaders and companies of the two countries. During the meetings, agreements on implementation of joint projects in various sectors of the economy were signed.

An exhibition of handicrafts and painting was held within the framework of the event. Participants took part in the contest of modern dance and the graffiti “Urban fest”.
