Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, visited Qayroqqum Carpets enterprise, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the head of our state, the carpet factory was commissioned in 1957. In 2019, the enterprise underwent modernization. Technological equipment from Germany, Italy, Japan, China and other countries was introduced here. It is capable of manufacturing 3 million square meters of products per year.
Qayroqqum carpets are known for their beauty and design reflecting the traditions of the East. The company has been rewarded various international awards for the high quality of its products.
The President examined the enterprise’s products.
The Leaders of the two countries visited Qayroqqum Reservoir. The Presidents examined the reservoir and had a brief conversation.
