UZBEKISTAN TO DEVELOP AND ADOPT THE CONCEPT OF THE STATE POLICY ON COOPERATION WITH COMPATRIOTS LIVING AND WORKING ABROAD

Ensuring security, interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, implementation of a balanced, mutually beneficial and constructive foreign policy is the fifth direction of the State Program, approved by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on January 22.

Therefore, the Concept of the state policy on cooperation with compatriots living and working abroad will be developed and adopted.

It is planned to implement a set of measures on social rehabilitation of citizens who have fallen under the influence of extremist ideas, improving the system for returning such citizens to a healthy environment.

The religious education system will be revised for making it more effective, especially among youth.

In total, 13,5 trillion sums and 1,3 billion US dollars will be allocated for implementation of measures stipulated by the State Program.

Implementation of measures outlined in the State Program will become a powerful impetus for further economic development of the country, real increase in well-being of the population and improvement of the quality of citizen’s life.
