On 28 February, Uzbekiston Pochtasi, a postal company, issued 8,000 new coloured se-tenant stamps titled ‘Regions. Sirdarya Region.’
The stamps depict the river Sirdarya and the reservoir Sardoba. Sirdarya’s geographical map show the foundation date, area, population and the capital.
The marks have been assigned serial numbers and prices:
1178. Sirdarya, 1,300 soums.
1179. Reservoir (Sardoba district), 1,500 soums.
