"UZBEKISTON TEMIR YOLLARI" ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF DOCKING AT TUNNEL "KAMCHIK"

According to the information service of JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yollari", all tunneling work in the trunk of the tunnel "Kamchik" completed. A ceremony devoted to the docking of two directions of 19 km tunnel took place last week.

To date works have been done at 85%. Further works will include the laying of the railway and other communications in the tunnel.

This grand project is implemented in cooperation of qualified specialists of JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yollari” and “China Railway Tunnel Group”.

On the complexity of the construction, this tunnel is included in the eight and on the length in the thirteen in the world, being a unique building of its kind in the CIS.
