UZTRADE HAS SIGNED CONTRACTS WORTH OVER $2 MILLION

JSC UzTrade signed contracts worth over $2 million following the results of the international exhibition YARN EXPO, held in the Chinese city of Shanghai in mid-March. This was reported by the Ministry for Foreign Trade.

Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of JSC UzTrade held negotiations with leading companies of China in the textile industry, in particular, with Xiamen Itg Tidak Bonded Logistics Co., Ltd, Tianjin Textile Industrial Supply and Sale Co., Ltd and China Chengtong International Co., Ltd, concerning expansion of supplies of Uzbekistan’s textile products to the Chinese market.

In order to strengthen the position of Uzbekistan’s products in this region, UzTrade together with Chinese partners is considering the issue of creating a joint Trade House in Shanghai this year.

JSC UzTrade is a commercial organization established in the system of the Ministry for Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The key task of the company is to expand the country’s export potential by fully supporting entrepreneurs involved in export activities, increasing the competitiveness of products and developing the business environment in general.

JSC UzTrade has developed foreign trade infrastructure. In order to promote the export of domestic products, UzTrade trading houses were opened and continue to be opened abroad. The geography of exports extends to the following countries: Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, UAE, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Chile, Czech Republic, and Japan.
