"WE ARE ACCUSTOMED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED IN UZBEKISTAN"

Almaty hosted a presentation of Uzbekistan’s new car brand Ravon with the participation of representatives of ministries and departments, political, business, expert and analytical circles of Kazakhstan, diplomatic corps and mass media.

During the event, the speakers elaborated on the successes of our country achieved over the years of independence, the state and prospects of Uzbek-Kazakh cooperation, as well as outcome of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent.

It was especially noted that over the past 25 years, Uzbekistan has emerged as a dynamically developing state. Those present emphasized high efficiency and success of chosen development strategy known to the world as Uzbek model, which is recognized by authoritative international financial and economic organizations and research centers.

Organizers spread informational materials about favorable conditions for doing business and tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

During the presentation the guests familiarized with new models of cars produced in Uzbekistan - Spark, Aveo and Gentra.

The fact that more than 52% of components for cars made in Uzbekistan within the framework of the large-scale localization program made huge impression on the participants of the event.

At the end of the presentation those present appreciated the products of Uzbek automakers, highlighting its high quality and reasonable price offers.

In particular, the member of parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan F.Karataev said:

— Cars produced in Uzbekistan by technical characteristics is not inferior to their competitors and become more and more popular among the people of Kazakhstan.

Despite existing complexity of economic character, Uzbek carmakers prove to foreign clients that "cheaper - does not mean worse."

I am sure that the sustainable development of the country will continue. Uzbekistan will continue to implement successfully various projects.

I take this opportunity to congratulate the people of Uzbekistan with the 25th anniversary of the state independence and wish further development and prosperity!

Deputy Head of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan in Almaty R.Karibjanov:

— The Kazakhstan delegation with positive impressions returned from the SCO summit held in Tashkent on June 23-24 this year.

Our country is an important task - to continue the work of the organization at the same high level that has been set in the Uzbek presidency.

However, I want to congratulate Uzbekistan with access to a new level of development in the automotive industry. I am sure that the presented brand will enjoy the same success as its predecessors - UzDaewoo and Chevrolet.

Produced new automobiles impressive in the country. According to their technical specifications they are not inferior to Western counterparts.

The chances of Uzbek manufacturers to win the markets of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries are very high, as they offer the best value for money.

Professor of the Faculty of "Social Science" at Kazakh-German University R.Burnashev:

— I am certainly pleased that Uzbekistan is developing its own high-tech manufacturing complete range of engines and vehicles. This confirms the fact that the republic in 25 years of independent development came out not only on the level of political independence and international recognition, but also a qualitatively new stage of technical independence - the development of its own high-level technologies to create an independent automotive and motor industry.

Presentation of the new brand in the year of the 25th anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan testifies to the correctness taken the leadership of the country’s landmarks. It also seriously confirms sufficient effectiveness of Uzbek model of development.
