The Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" during the week from 14 to 18 August registered 53 transactions for purchase and sale of securities of 14 joint-stock companies. They sold 1.5 million shares worth 1.8 billion soums.
The analysis of the sectoral indices of the exchange in terms of investment attractiveness shows that the greatest demand in the past period was for securities from commercial banks - 86.2%. The biggest transaction was concluded on August 15 with shares of JSCB "Turkiston" in the amount of 1 billion soums.
A leader in the number of transactions in the intervening period was JSC "Granit". Shares of the company participated in 17 deals.
Since the beginning of the year, the RSE "Toshkent" saw 1620 transactions with securities for a total amount of 57 billion soums.
