The members of the Uzbekistan national team on boxing Shakhnoza Nizamova and Guzal Ismatova reached the final of the Continental Cup Asia on boxing among women, which takes place in Ulanqab (China), reports the press-service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
Our boxer Shakhnoza (up to 69 kg) in the semifinals defeated Wu Pei-Yi from China and Guzal (81 kg) beat the silver medalist of the World Championship Lazzat Kungeybaev from Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that this is the first success of our team in the history of women’s boxing in Uzbekistan.
Information: Today, on August 13, 2015 will be held the final stage of the match. In this stage will fight couples Nizamova - Gu Hong (China) and Ismatova - Shizhin Wang (China).
